I am a happily married Southern girl with 3 beautiful children and an extremely large dog. I was born in LA aka Lower Alabama and transplanted to Florida when I was in kindergarten. I lived in the same town in Florida almost all my life until my husband’s job relocated us to Texas. When folks say everything is bigger in Texas they’re not kidding!

I have a deep love for cooking and hope to one day follow that passion to a culinary arts program. I also love scrapbooking and for the first time in years I’m trying my hand in gardening. (well, I wouldn’t call it “gardening” but I did plant a tomato plant!) I spend my days at home with my very busy, funny, and full of life 3 year old son. My daughters decided to stay in Florida because school, sports, and of course boys were at the forefront of their priorities. I miss them terribly but we talk every day and thanks to the world of modern technology if we’re not talking we’re texting or on Facetime.
