SURPRISE Sweet Sixteen

In September I took on my greatest Cricut craft project since purchasing my Cricut back in May…my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen party! I LOVE coordinating events and just seeing my vision come together and I love that my daughters let me use them as my guinea pigs. Since I live 850 miles away from my girls because of my husband’s job this event took a little more effort in the planning, especially since it was a surprise party. Of course the first thing I did was enlist her “BFF” to help with the guest list and picking the appropriate color scheme and I went from there. Here are photos of my before, during, and after of her party.

Let me start by introducing my beautiful daughter Jaymee Lynn (I know, a very Southern name and I LOVE it!)

The next photos are the beginning stages of all the banners and other items that I made. The banners were hung with ribbon by simply using a hole punch to thread the ribbon through each letter.
